Looking forward to a great 2021

After a full on end of last year November and December with charity events, end of year parties, weddings, Cricket buffets, farewell morning teas / afternoon teas, tea and coffee stations and many more, we all enjoyed a great break over the Summer.Back for 2021 we are ready for a full on year.  Already becoming booked out with events at Northland Field Days in Dargaville....

Life after lockdown and level 1

We all hope we can remain as normal as possible.  But we are super happy to have come out the other side just as strong and we went into lockdown. Thank you to our suppliers and loyal customers and clients for sticking with us, and those who continue to support us during Level 1. Hens party by the sea

Saturday morning we had the pleasure of catering out near Whangarei Heads on a secluded beach for a lucky hen and her friends.The set up was lovely, and looked like it was going to be a fun day and evening.  They had ordered high tea, so we made a wonderful selection of sandwiches, mini scones and sweet bites including cupcakes made by Daisy Cupcakes in the Quality Street Mall.   Also hiring out our trestle tables, tablecloths, china plates, cups and saucers and cutlery.We delivered al...

Children's Birthday Party food

Good friend's of mine needed a little help orgnaising the food for their children's birthday party.  They have a 4 year old son and a 5 year old daughter, who's birthdays are very close, so they chose to have a combine birthday.  The theme was "Underwater", so I created a few food items to reflect this.  "Shark tooth" chicken mayonnaise triangle sandwiches, "Sea snail" herb, tomato and cheese pinwheels, "Hidden Treasure" popcorn, mnm's, chocolate pieces and mini marshmallows, Blue...

Local Supplier - Good Eggs, Poroti

I had the pleasure of meeting Bridget and her free range hens over the school holiday's.  My four nephews also enjoyed this visit, asking great questions about the farm and the hens and being able to feed some as well.  Good Eggs is their name, and yes they certainly are.  Seeing where all the hens live and how they are cared for is really great.  Knowing where your food comes from is one thing our company loves.  Supporting local suppliers and creating some delicious tr...
